Located along Seneca State Forest, the Greenbrier River Trail, and near Cass Scenic Railroad, Greenbank Observatory and Snowshoe Ski Resort, the possibilities are endless for enjoying outdoor activities in beautiful Pocahontas county at EJ’s Lodging, Camping, and Stabling. Guests can bring horses to enjoy riding along the river or through the forest on maintained trails. The Greenbrier River trail is a great place for many of our guests to enjoy their horse or mule drawn wagons. From camp, guests can walk or bike to the river to fish, swim, kayak, canoe, tube, or just take a leisurely hike along the river. Guests are also welcome to spend time at Seven Trees, our lot along the river between camp and Cass Senic Railroad. It’s just a mile and a half from our main campground and a great place to relax, soak your feet in the river, picnic under shelter, or even spend a night if you like to primitive camp. Bring your own firewood for relaxing by campfire and making plans for next day adventures.
