Our WATERFALL COTTAGE is within sight and sound of the iconic Cane Creek Falls. It is a 2BR/2BA getaway in a very special, unique location. It is located 5 miles from the lodge and is NOT part of the B and B. It is only 5 minutes from the town square. Two night minimum stay is required.
This vacation rental is a 2BR/2BA cottage located in the very unique and special, gated location within sight and sound of the iconic Cane Creek Falls. The Waterfall Cottage is the second one downstream of the falls. A large screened porch with dining table and comfortable seating area and other viewing areas will give you the sense of really being with nature as the cottage is about fifty feet from Cane Creek. Lots on either side are vacant. It has two bedrooms with one king and one queen bed and two full baths, wood-burning fireplace (we supply the initial wood), free WiFi, Smart TV, DVD player & DVDs, land-line phone with unlimited USA long distance (cell service is spotty), and a lower covered deck with porch swing. Breakfast is not provided, but we do provide coffee and all the basic needs for cooking. We provide camp chairs for you to use to sit by the falls. Cane Creek is a designated trout stream now open year-round, and you must have a valid license to fish. We use the Waterfall Cottage as our own get-away when not rented and thoroughly enjoy spending time there. There are hiking trails starting at the property line, and you can also check out http://www.hikedahlonega.com . The falls area is rich in history as a Native American gathering place with netting holes and petroglyphs etched in the rocks by the falls.
The TREE TOP ROOM is a 1BR/1BA wing of the owner’s home, but is very private with lots of deck and screened or sun room porch space perched in the trees. This unit includes maid service and breakfast at the lodge. Seasonal views and a nice view of our ponds. Weekends from mid-September to December 31st and some festivals & holidays require a two-night minimum stay.
This room is located in the North wing of the owner’s home on a lot adjacent to the lodge (not the same building as the B&B – short drive or walk ) with a large private deck and private screened-in porch (glassed-in with electric heater November through May to be used as a sun room) overlooking both Big Spring and Little Spring Trout Ponds. You will hear the cascading waterfall that empties into the nearby Little Spring Pond. Access is via a stairway leading from a private parking spot. Amenities include free WiFi, flat screen TV with Direct TV service, separate heat and air conditioning, maid service, mini fridge, microwave, iron & ironing board and coffee maker (organic, free-trade coffee provided). The bath room has a shower, lighted shaving / make-up mirror and vessel sink. Breakfast at the B and B is included. This room, decks and surrounding areas are NON-SMOKING. No pets are allowed, and the maximum capacity is two people. Catch & release fishing can be enjoyed in our Big Pond and walking trails are throughout our 14 acres.

Blue Ridge Mountain Cabins manage a wide array of individually owned one, two, three and four bedroom vacation rental cabins, some with hot tubs and some pet friendly. Just 90 miles north of Atlanta, GA.
The Blue Ridge Mountains offer many activities. Mountain biking, hiking, fishing, boating, bird watching, antiquing and much more. When you rent one of our cabins you will be in the best place to enjoy all the area has to offer.
Each of our Blue Ridge Mountain rental cabins have a fully equipped kitchen, microwave oven, coffee maker and toaster. Some kitchens also have a dishwasher and washer and dryer. Bed linens, bath towels, paper products and soaps are provided. All vacation cabins have heat, ceiling fans and all are air conditioned. Additional amenities include telephone, TV/VCR, most have DVD, porches and grills. There are Jacuzzis and Hot Tubs in some cabins.
All vacation rental cabins have fireplaces. Some cabins have gas logs but most have wood burning fireplaces for that cozy get together during the fall or winter months. Firewood is provided between October 1 and April 1.

For about the same price as a motel suite, you get 2 big bedrooms, living/dining rooms, full kitchen, washer & dryer and two jetted bathtubs. Best of all, you get the privacy and quiet a motel room could never offer. Each bedroom has one queen sized bed and there is a sleeper sofa in the living room, accommodating a total of 6 people. What’s in the cabin.: All cooking utensils and linens are provided. All furniture and appliances are brand new. Sunburst Point is a 4 bedroom/3 bathroom house located in the heart of the Smoky Mountains in western North Carolina. The original part of the house is a Circa 1870’s log cabin that was brought here from the Virginia mountains. In recent years, two bedrooms and two full baths have been added to the original house. The kitchen has been completely renovated as well. Sunburst Point has a large covered porch which can accommodate the whole family for casual outdoor dining while enjoying beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. Bedrooms include a king master suite, a second king master suite, a queen bedroom and the fourth bedroom has two full bunk beds over a twin trundle plus a single twin. There is an additional hallway full bathroom. We are a small, family-run Bed & Breakfast-style Rustic Mountain Retreat, designed in the spirit of the Great Lodges of older times and ancient places, nestled deep in the mountains of Southern Appalachia along the North Carolina/ Tennessee border. The name Kana’ti is in honor of the first chief of the first people: The Cherokee and earlier Woodland tribes who, according to archaeological evidence, used this area for thousands of years as a hunting ground for Mammoth, Bison, Elk and Deer migrating up and down the Bald Mountain Ranges as the ice caps retreated northward. The lodge itself is constructed of mostly local materials, many of which were reclaimed from old cabins and barns around the Southern Appalachian region. Every part of the building tells a story – the passing age of tobacco in barn poles and hand-rived stakes, restored windows and doors from a local school, and flooring and siding harvested from our own land.
Dovetails is a clean, fully equipped log home conveniently located sixteen (16) miles from Asheville Regional Airport and just three (3) miles from US Hwy. I-26. Your reservation comes complete with fresh premium linens and towels, paper products, garbage service, firewood and basic toiletries. 100mbs Wi-Fi, DirecTv, and Netflix are all included with your stay.
Dovetails sleeps six (6) people comfortably. There are two (2) master suites, each at opposite ends of the home to provide optimum privacy. Each suite has an en-suite bath and private covered porch. Master one (#1) has a King size bed and Master two (#2) has two Queen size beds. There is also a pull out sofa with a Queen mattress in front of the wood burning fireplace.
Dovetails is equipped with 3 large TV’s, all with DirecTv and access to Netflix. The Wi-fi is wireless and 100mbs.
Bedrooms include large closets and dressers. Each suite has a TV, an alarm clock, bedside access to plug-in’s and USB charging ports. Each master suite is individually climate controlled for your comfort.
En-Suite bathrooms have double vanities with large mirrors, large tile showers and hair dryers. Makeup towels are provided in addition to regular bath towel sets. You will have access to extra towels and linens during your stay. Basic toiletries are provided.
The Kitchen is fully equipped with basic everyday cooking utensils and cutlery. There are storage containers for your convenience as well. A gas grill is available to use on the back deck. There are two sitting areas for dining. One six (6) person table inside and one six (6) person table outside on the back deck. You will have use of the front loading clothes washer and dryer, laundry supplies; as well as an iron and ironing board. Dovetails is stocked with basic cleaning and garbage supplies for your use.
Enjoy the wood burning fireplace or head outside to huddle around the outdoor fire kettle. Firewood is provided for your stay. Dovetails is on a one (1) acre lot surrounded by woods with a creek. The Village of Flat Rock is just 0.5 miles away and is connected to Dovetails by walking / biking trails. The Village has a movie cinema, coffee shop, BBQ shack and shops. Flat Rock is also home to the NC state theatre The Flat Rock Playhouse and the Carl Sandburg National Historic Site. Dupont and Pisgah Forests are close by and great for fishing, hiking, biking, climbing, paddling, camping and sightseeing.
Check-in is available 24 hours a day. Prior to your reservation you will receive a Property Information booklet. This will contain your entry codes, Wi-fi passwords and more. There is plenty of parking on site.
Briar Rose Farm is an old mountain farm nestled in the steep slopes of the southern Appalachian Mountains. We are 30 miles northwest of Asheville and 17 miles south of Hot Springs.
The Sweet Briar Cabin is nestled on an 89-acre farm. The cabin has one cozy bedroom complete with a queen bed. There is a sitting area under a covered deck right through the bedroom’s sliding doors.
