The kitchen has microwave oven, toaster oven, fridge, two burner counter-top stove, coffee maker, pots, pans, dishes, crock pot and all utensils. Outside there’s a BBQ grill, hammock, hot tub,
rocking chairs and a picnic table. We supply all linens and towels for up to four people.

Welcome to “A Touch of Luxury” located on the border of Mill Spring and Lake Lure. This is a custom-built, 1672 sq. ft., 2 BR/2BA log cabin, 15.9 miles from the Tryon International Equestrian Center, and only 1.5 miles from the Lake Lure Ingles grocery, gas station, pharmacy, and Red Box. Ingles is the only major grocery store in the area. Chimney Rock State Park is a 6.5 mile drive. The Beach at Lake Lure is 5.5 miles away.
This charming home is in a private, secluded setting, while still a short drive to the touristy attractions in Mill Spring, Chimney Rock, and Lake Lure. The cabin comes with the basic Directv channels. Free Wifi is also available. Please note that we have the fastest internet available in our area; however, due to the mountains, it is not conducive to streaming video, etc.
Main floor bedroom has King-size pillow top mattress, ceiling fan, and 32″ flat panel TV. Double closets have ample storage space. Standard full bath w/ tub/shower combo is directly across from this room.
Upstairs bedroom has Queen-size pillow top mattress, ceiling fan, 32″ flat panel TV, and ensuite bathroom. The bathroom has Jacuzzi tub and separate shower.
Living room has a 55 inch flat screen tv. There are two single floor mattresses for a 5th and 6th guest to use. Fifth and sixth guests are $15 each per night (no matter the age).
Kitchen is fully stocked with cookware, dishes, basics, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, etc.
The theater room has a 110 inch movie screen with ample seating and popcorn machine.
The 8 ft. covered, wrap around deck has gas grill, outdoor sound system, plenty of seating, a swinging bench, and spacious dining area. The property also includes a private waterfall, horseshoe pits, and miniature zipline for young kids.
Note: During the first freezing and last freezing of the year, the backyard waterfall amenity is exchanged for the indoor fireplace. Firewood for one evening fire per night is provided.
There is parking for 3 vehicles maximum.
Dovetails is a clean, fully equipped log home conveniently located sixteen (16) miles from Asheville Regional Airport and just three (3) miles from US Hwy. I-26. Your reservation comes complete with fresh premium linens and towels, paper products, garbage service, firewood and basic toiletries. 100mbs Wi-Fi, DirecTv, and Netflix are all included with your stay.
Dovetails sleeps six (6) people comfortably. There are two (2) master suites, each at opposite ends of the home to provide optimum privacy. Each suite has an en-suite bath and private covered porch. Master one (#1) has a King size bed and Master two (#2) has two Queen size beds. There is also a pull out sofa with a Queen mattress in front of the wood burning fireplace.
Dovetails is equipped with 3 large TV’s, all with DirecTv and access to Netflix. The Wi-fi is wireless and 100mbs.
Bedrooms include large closets and dressers. Each suite has a TV, an alarm clock, bedside access to plug-in’s and USB charging ports. Each master suite is individually climate controlled for your comfort.
En-Suite bathrooms have double vanities with large mirrors, large tile showers and hair dryers. Makeup towels are provided in addition to regular bath towel sets. You will have access to extra towels and linens during your stay. Basic toiletries are provided.
The Kitchen is fully equipped with basic everyday cooking utensils and cutlery. There are storage containers for your convenience as well. A gas grill is available to use on the back deck. There are two sitting areas for dining. One six (6) person table inside and one six (6) person table outside on the back deck. You will have use of the front loading clothes washer and dryer, laundry supplies; as well as an iron and ironing board. Dovetails is stocked with basic cleaning and garbage supplies for your use.
Enjoy the wood burning fireplace or head outside to huddle around the outdoor fire kettle. Firewood is provided for your stay. Dovetails is on a one (1) acre lot surrounded by woods with a creek. The Village of Flat Rock is just 0.5 miles away and is connected to Dovetails by walking / biking trails. The Village has a movie cinema, coffee shop, BBQ shack and shops. Flat Rock is also home to the NC state theatre The Flat Rock Playhouse and the Carl Sandburg National Historic Site. Dupont and Pisgah Forests are close by and great for fishing, hiking, biking, climbing, paddling, camping and sightseeing.

“Overlook” is a beautifully furnished three-bedroom, three-bath, log cabin on two acres of wooded land with gorgeous mountain views! It offers a gated, covered porch with a large furnished deck and gas grill. Just off the deck is a fire pit with tree stump seating.
On the first level is a furnished living room with vaulted ceilings and a river rock face fireplace. Adjacent to the living room is the dining area, with a long country table with four chairs and a bench it seats seven. The kitchen is fully equipped with a coffeemaker, ample cookware, glassware, and flatware. In addition to the spacious cabinets in the kitchen, there is a full pantry closet.
Off the hallway is the first level bedroom, furnished in a mission style, with a full-size bed, recliner, end tables and an armoire, as well as satellite TV. There is a full bathroom with a fully-stocked linen closet. All the flooring on this level is hardwood.
Off the living room is a staircase leading to the second level – a large carpeted loft with a queen-size sleeper sofa, end tables/lamps, large coffee table, game table, satellite TV/DVR, and two chairs. Adjacent to the loft is a large carpeted master bedroom with a beautiful oak bedroom suite (queen-size bed), large walk-in closet and full bathroom.
On the ground level is a bedroom/den with a double bed, office area, washer/dryer and a full bathroom.
The house is equipped with electric heat pump/AC, WiFi & satellite TV.

The main level has another family room with stone hearth wood stove, master bedroom and bath, and kitchen/dining area. Satellite televisions on the main floor are provided in the master bedroom and kitchen. The upper level has two bedrooms, bathroom and open loft area with satellite tv/dvd/vcr and small office area with computer, fax and printer.
The cabin itself is decorated in rustic elegant decor, beautiful Australian Cypress hardwood floors and stainless steel appliances. Sunburst Point is a 4 bedroom/3 bathroom house located in the heart of the Smoky Mountains in western North Carolina. The original part of the house is a Circa 1870’s log cabin that was brought here from the Virginia mountains. In recent years, two bedrooms and two full baths have been added to the original house. The kitchen has been completely renovated as well. Sunburst Point has a large covered porch which can accommodate the whole family for casual outdoor dining while enjoying beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. Bedrooms include a king master suite, a second king master suite, a queen bedroom and the fourth bedroom has two full bunk beds over a twin trundle plus a single twin. There is an additional hallway full bathroom. We have 5 comfortable cabins from which to choose, offering a selection of 2 or 3 bedrooms – sleeping anywhere from 2 to 8. Regardless of which cabin you choose, the log cabin atmosphere abounds both inside and out helping you to relax and unwind during your escape to the High Country. For your outdoor enjoyment, each cabin offers you beautiful scenery from a spacious deck most cabins have a hot tub and gas grill. The cabins also feature a living room , well-equipped kitchen, cable television and in most cabins, a floor-to-ceiling stone gas fireplace. Several of our cabins are even pet friendly!
Most essentials are provided for your convenience and to simplify planning your getaway…bed linens, bath towels, washer/dryer, hair dryer, iron/ironing board, coffee maker, microwave, dishwasher, and other kitchen necessities. Please bring any additional towels that you may need for outdoor adventures like tubing or white-water rafting.

From the moment of our arrival I knew we made an excellent choice. Maggie and Steve are fantastic hosts and they ensured that every aspect of our stay was perfect. From guided canoe trips to whitewater rafting to zip-lining and an informative hike along the AT, our mountain experience was top-notch. The property is impeccably clean while being both cozy and rustic. You can do as much or as little as you want while staying here. The Bella Luna, is the sister treehouse to the Stella Vista. We have designed this space with a beautiful vintage chandelier as the centerpiece. The rustic woodsy elements and fun fairy wire lighting combined with soft flowing drapes create an incredibly cozy and romantic atmosphere. Whimsical and fun furnishings make this the perfect place to celebrate your love. It’s a favorite for anniversaries and we’ve even hosted a few honeymoons. You just have to see it in person to appreciate all the little details. Pictures just don’t do it justice!
