You will also quickly notice the luxurious touches that make this cabin steps above the average vacation rental. Enjoy the cabin’s exquisite décor and wonderful antiques. This is the getaway you’ve dreamed of. Get up early and enjoy morning coffee outside on your porch looking at nature at its best or take a walk down to Betty’s Creek, offering some of the purest water in North Georgia. Our WATERFALL COTTAGE is within sight and sound of the iconic Cane Creek Falls. It is a 2BR/2BA getaway in a very special, unique location. It is located 5 miles from the lodge and is NOT part of the B and B. It is only 5 minutes from the town square. Two night minimum stay is required.
This vacation rental is a 2BR/2BA cottage located in the very unique and special, gated location within sight and sound of the iconic Cane Creek Falls. The Waterfall Cottage is the second one downstream of the falls. A large screened porch with dining table and comfortable seating area and other viewing areas will give you the sense of really being with nature as the cottage is about fifty feet from Cane Creek. Lots on either side are vacant. It has two bedrooms with one king and one queen bed and two full baths, wood-burning fireplace (we supply the initial wood), free WiFi, Smart TV, DVD player & DVDs, land-line phone with unlimited USA long distance (cell service is spotty), and a lower covered deck with porch swing. Breakfast is not provided, but we do provide coffee and all the basic needs for cooking. We provide camp chairs for you to use to sit by the falls. Cane Creek is a designated trout stream now open year-round, and you must have a valid license to fish. We use the Waterfall Cottage as our own get-away when not rented and thoroughly enjoy spending time there. There are hiking trails starting at the property line, and you can also check out http://www.hikedahlonega.com . The falls area is rich in history as a Native American gathering place with netting holes and petroglyphs etched in the rocks by the falls.
The TREE TOP ROOM is a 1BR/1BA wing of the owner’s home, but is very private with lots of deck and screened or sun room porch space perched in the trees. This unit includes maid service and breakfast at the lodge. Seasonal views and a nice view of our ponds. Weekends from mid-September to December 31st and some festivals & holidays require a two-night minimum stay.
This room is located in the North wing of the owner’s home on a lot adjacent to the lodge (not the same building as the B&B – short drive or walk ) with a large private deck and private screened-in porch (glassed-in with electric heater November through May to be used as a sun room) overlooking both Big Spring and Little Spring Trout Ponds. You will hear the cascading waterfall that empties into the nearby Little Spring Pond. Access is via a stairway leading from a private parking spot. Amenities include free WiFi, flat screen TV with Direct TV service, separate heat and air conditioning, maid service, mini fridge, microwave, iron & ironing board and coffee maker (organic, free-trade coffee provided). The bath room has a shower, lighted shaving / make-up mirror and vessel sink. Breakfast at the B and B is included. This room, decks and surrounding areas are NON-SMOKING. No pets are allowed, and the maximum capacity is two people. Catch & release fishing can be enjoyed in our Big Pond and walking trails are throughout our 14 acres.

Blue Ridge Mountain Cabins manage a wide array of individually owned one, two, three and four bedroom vacation rental cabins, some with hot tubs and some pet friendly. Just 90 miles north of Atlanta, GA.
The Blue Ridge Mountains offer many activities. Mountain biking, hiking, fishing, boating, bird watching, antiquing and much more. When you rent one of our cabins you will be in the best place to enjoy all the area has to offer.
Each of our Blue Ridge Mountain rental cabins have a fully equipped kitchen, microwave oven, coffee maker and toaster. Some kitchens also have a dishwasher and washer and dryer. Bed linens, bath towels, paper products and soaps are provided. All vacation cabins have heat, ceiling fans and all are air conditioned. Additional amenities include telephone, TV/VCR, most have DVD, porches and grills. There are Jacuzzis and Hot Tubs in some cabins.
All vacation rental cabins have fireplaces. Some cabins have gas logs but most have wood burning fireplaces for that cozy get together during the fall or winter months. Firewood is provided between October 1 and April 1.

For about the same price as a motel suite, you get 2 big bedrooms, living/dining rooms, full kitchen, washer & dryer and two jetted bathtubs. Best of all, you get the privacy and quiet a motel room could never offer. Each bedroom has one queen sized bed and there is a sleeper sofa in the living room, accommodating a total of 6 people. What’s in the cabin.: All cooking utensils and linens are provided. All furniture and appliances are brand new. We are a small, family-run Bed & Breakfast-style Rustic Mountain Retreat, designed in the spirit of the Great Lodges of older times and ancient places, nestled deep in the mountains of Southern Appalachia along the North Carolina/ Tennessee border. The name Kana’ti is in honor of the first chief of the first people: The Cherokee and earlier Woodland tribes who, according to archaeological evidence, used this area for thousands of years as a hunting ground for Mammoth, Bison, Elk and Deer migrating up and down the Bald Mountain Ranges as the ice caps retreated northward. The lodge itself is constructed of mostly local materials, many of which were reclaimed from old cabins and barns around the Southern Appalachian region. Every part of the building tells a story – the passing age of tobacco in barn poles and hand-rived stakes, restored windows and doors from a local school, and flooring and siding harvested from our own land.

Ladybug Cottage, our dog-friendly B&B, was named after our twenty seven year old Quarter Horse that I still ride, has French doors that lead to a spacious covered deck that overlooks one of the horse pastures. The large crown moldings and Dutch baroque chandelier provide an old world charm. It is furnished throughout with antique furniture including part of our antique picture frame collection. There is also satellite television. The floors are tile and covered with oriental area rugs. Fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances and mahogany cabinets. The bedroom is furnished with my grandmother’s bedroom furniture and a Simmons queen size Beauty rest mattress for a restful night’s sleep. The doggie traveler isn’t forgotten either, there is a cushy doggie bed too! At the end of the day take a soothing bath in the whirlpool tub and enjoy the sunset from the romantic deck with a view of horses peacefully grazing. You can also see the main house across the pasture. The atmosphere is so serene you feel as though you have left civilization behind, but are only minutes from downtown Landrum and Tryon. This area is in the middle of North and South Carolina’s horse country. We have many different different kinds of horses on the farm. A Percheron French Draft Horse, Paint Horses, Quarter Horses and our 30+ year old Racking Horse.
The first step across the threshold always takes guests by surprise. Laurel Cottage, is our pet-friendly B&B, was named after our youngest son’s first horse, has marvelous large crown moldings and a Dutch baroque chandelier to create an elegant atmosphere. It is tastefully decorated with antique furniture and part of our antique picture frame collection. There is also satellite television. The floors are all tile and covered with oriental area rugs.
The kitchen has mahogany cabinets and is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances and a charming pasture view. The whirlpool tub in the spacious bathroom adds an additional touch of luxury. On your first step outside the door of Laurel Cottage you are greeted with sweeping views of the pastures and the main house. The atmosphere is so serene you feel as though you have left the pressures of the modern world behind you, but you are only minutes from downtown Landrum and Tryon.
The bedroom furniture is part of my grandmother’s bedroom set. There is a queen size Simmons Beauty rest mattress for a restful night’s sleep as well as a very cushy doggie bed. The living room has a satellite television as well as a Simmons Hide-a-Bed for that extra guest. Why stay at a dog-friendly hotel when you can stay at Laurel Cottage?

Welcome to “A Touch of Luxury” located on the border of Mill Spring and Lake Lure. This is a custom-built, 1672 sq. ft., 2 BR/2BA log cabin, 15.9 miles from the Tryon International Equestrian Center, and only 1.5 miles from the Lake Lure Ingles grocery, gas station, pharmacy, and Red Box. Ingles is the only major grocery store in the area. Chimney Rock State Park is a 6.5 mile drive. The Beach at Lake Lure is 5.5 miles away.
This charming home is in a private, secluded setting, while still a short drive to the touristy attractions in Mill Spring, Chimney Rock, and Lake Lure. The cabin comes with the basic Directv channels. Free Wifi is also available. Please note that we have the fastest internet available in our area; however, due to the mountains, it is not conducive to streaming video, etc.
Main floor bedroom has King-size pillow top mattress, ceiling fan, and 32″ flat panel TV. Double closets have ample storage space. Standard full bath w/ tub/shower combo is directly across from this room.
Upstairs bedroom has Queen-size pillow top mattress, ceiling fan, 32″ flat panel TV, and ensuite bathroom. The bathroom has Jacuzzi tub and separate shower.
Living room has a 55 inch flat screen tv. There are two single floor mattresses for a 5th and 6th guest to use. Fifth and sixth guests are $15 each per night (no matter the age).
Kitchen is fully stocked with cookware, dishes, basics, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, etc.
The theater room has a 110 inch movie screen with ample seating and popcorn machine.
The 8 ft. covered, wrap around deck has gas grill, outdoor sound system, plenty of seating, a swinging bench, and spacious dining area. The property also includes a private waterfall, horseshoe pits, and miniature zipline for young kids.
Note: During the first freezing and last freezing of the year, the backyard waterfall amenity is exchanged for the indoor fireplace. Firewood for one evening fire per night is provided.
There is parking for 3 vehicles maximum.

Where did we get our name? Shortly after the 1800′s there was a drover’s Inn, on this location. With accommodations for travelers and drovers who were using the turnpike. A major route for moving cattle, hogs, turkeys and other commodities from Tennessee and Kentucky to markets in the south, such as Charleston. This location became know as Pleasant Bank Inn, also a loading point for Ottingers Ferry, crossing the river. The old turnpike road is still located were it was 200 years ago along the beautiful river. In this setting you can enjoy the quietness of the countryside and the French Broad River, which is used today for white water rafting in NC. You can often see wildlife such as deer, geese and turkeys, that will some times come into your front yard. We have two great lodging options and can comfortably sleep a total of 8 people. “Overlook” is a beautifully furnished three-bedroom, three-bath, log cabin on two acres of wooded land with gorgeous mountain views! It offers a gated, covered porch with a large furnished deck and gas grill. Just off the deck is a fire pit with tree stump seating.
On the first level is a furnished living room with vaulted ceilings and a river rock face fireplace. Adjacent to the living room is the dining area, with a long country table with four chairs and a bench it seats seven. The kitchen is fully equipped with a coffeemaker, ample cookware, glassware, and flatware. In addition to the spacious cabinets in the kitchen, there is a full pantry closet.
Off the hallway is the first level bedroom, furnished in a mission style, with a full-size bed, recliner, end tables and an armoire, as well as satellite TV. There is a full bathroom with a fully-stocked linen closet. All the flooring on this level is hardwood.
Off the living room is a staircase leading to the second level – a large carpeted loft with a queen-size sleeper sofa, end tables/lamps, large coffee table, game table, satellite TV/DVR, and two chairs. Adjacent to the loft is a large carpeted master bedroom with a beautiful oak bedroom suite (queen-size bed), large walk-in closet and full bathroom.

Convenient to I-75, the house offers easy access to local attractions (Braves, Lake Point Sporting Complex (see links for more info), Golf, and Shopping). Downtown Acworth is just a few miles away and has a wonderful selection of restaurants and night life.

Lake Allatoona is a Corps of Engineers controlled lake. Unlike many properties on the lake we enjoy year-round water under our dock.
