Mayberry Haven was built in 1947. It was purchased on May 1 2013 and has been completely remodeled in order to make your stay with us a relaxing and enjoyable one. The house is located in a nice, convenient neighborhood and is within a two block walking distance to downtown Mount Airy.

The Andy Griffith Playhouse, Museum & Statue and the Blackmon Amphitheatre are located only one block from Mayberry Haven. The home features three bedrooms, one bath, a kitchen and dining area as well as a comfy living room area for you to relax in. There is a sunroom where you can enjoy a game of checkers or read a good book in. There are outdoor sitting areas for you to enjoy the beautiful scenery and weather during your stay. Cabin 1 (Stone Mountain Pilot Lookout) is a small, cozy log cabin featuring stunning views from each room

as well as the front porch and deck.  One bedroom and one bathroom.  Romantic gas log fireplace for those cool snuggly nights.  Window air conditioner is provided but it is not normally needed due to the high elevation and constant breeze coming up the mountain.  The kitchen has microwave oven, toaster oven, fridge, two burner counter-top stove, coffee maker, pots, pans, dishes, crock pot and all utensils.  Outside there’s a BBQ grill, hammock, hot tub,

rocking chairs and a picnic table.  We supply all linens and towels for up to four people.

Welcome to “A Touch of Luxury” located on the border of Mill Spring and Lake Lure. This is a custom-built, 1672 sq. ft., 2 BR/2BA log cabin, 15.9 miles from the Tryon International Equestrian Center, and only 1.5 miles from the Lake Lure Ingles grocery, gas station, pharmacy, and Red Box. Ingles is the only major grocery store in the area. Chimney Rock State Park is a 6.5 mile drive. The Beach at Lake Lure is 5.5 miles away.

This charming home is in a private, secluded setting, while still a short drive to the touristy attractions in Mill Spring, Chimney Rock, and Lake Lure. The cabin comes with the basic Directv channels. Free Wifi is also available. Please note that we have the fastest internet available in our area; however, due to the mountains, it is not conducive to streaming video, etc.

Main floor bedroom has King-size pillow top mattress, ceiling fan, and 32″ flat panel TV. Double closets have ample storage space. Standard full bath w/ tub/shower combo is directly across from this room.

The theater room has a 110 inch movie screen with ample seating and popcorn machine.

The 8 ft. covered, wrap around deck has gas grill, outdoor sound system, plenty of seating, a swinging bench, and spacious dining area. The property also includes a private waterfall, horseshoe pits, and miniature zipline for young kids.

Note: During the first freezing and last freezing of the year, the backyard waterfall amenity is exchanged for the indoor fireplace. Firewood for one evening fire per night is provided.

On the first level is a furnished living room with vaulted ceilings and a river rock face fireplace. Adjacent to the living room is the dining area, with a long country table with four chairs and a bench it seats seven. The kitchen is fully equipped with a coffeemaker, ample cookware, glassware, and flatware. In addition to the spacious cabinets in the kitchen, there is a full pantry closet.

Off the hallway is the first level bedroom, furnished in a mission style, with a full-size bed, recliner, end tables and an armoire, as well as satellite TV. There is a full bathroom with a fully-stocked linen closet. All the flooring on this level is hardwood.

Off the living room is a staircase leading to the second level – a large carpeted loft with a queen-size sleeper sofa, end tables/lamps, large coffee table, game table, satellite TV/DVR, and two chairs. Adjacent to the loft is a large carpeted master bedroom with a beautiful oak bedroom suite (queen-size bed), large walk-in closet and full bathroom.

On the ground level is a bedroom/den with a double bed, office area, washer/dryer and a full bathroom.

Most essentials are provided for your convenience and to simplify planning your getaway…bed linens, bath towels, washer/dryer, hair dryer, iron/ironing board, coffee maker, microwave, dishwasher,  and other kitchen necessities. Please bring any additional towels that you may need for outdoor adventures like tubing or white-water rafting.

However, “secluded mountain cabin” doesn’t mean bare necessities. The Serenity Falls vacation rental cabin has all the modern conveniences you’ve come to expect.  Hiking is just inches away on our private trails that traverse the mountain and lead to a swinging vine. Games you’re thing?  Try the regulation horse shoe pit. When it’s time to relax, nothing beats a dip in the hot tub or some marshmallows around the campfire. Our rental cabin is one of the few that has a rock lined fire-pit that many of our guests have highlighted as a great family experience!

We have two cabins available.  Each has 1 bathroom, 1 bedroom with queen size bed and 2 person jacuzzi tub upstairs, sleeper sofa downstairs.  Cabins are fully furnished, have central air and heat, fireplace, satellite tv, washer and dryer, and gas grill.  Romantic, inviting,  and very clean.

Sunburst Point is a 4 bedroom/3 bathroom house located in the heart of the Smoky Mountains in western North Carolina. The original part of the house is a Circa 1870’s log cabin that was brought here from the Virginia mountains. In recent years, two bedrooms and two full baths have been added to the original house. The kitchen has been completely renovated as well. Sunburst Point has a large covered porch which can accommodate the whole family for casual outdoor dining while enjoying beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. Bedrooms include a king master suite, a second king master suite, a queen bedroom and the fourth bedroom has two full bunk beds over a twin trundle plus a single twin. There is an additional hallway full bathroom. Amenities include a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, Central A/C and dual zone heat, wood burning stove that is great for keeping the living room and kitchen area warm without the Central heat if you so choose, full size washer and dryer, wireless DSL internet access, satellite TV, outdoor campfire pit and charcoal grill.

Your relaxing vacation starts at the gated community of “Lost Cove”, surrounded by the Pisgah National Forest and within walking distance to picturesque Lake Logan. Our home is in a quiet gated community, on an easily navigated paved road.  There are so many beautiful hikes and waterfalls within just minutes of our home. It is the perfect location to stay home and unwind, and an ideal base to explore all Western North Carolina has to offer.
