We have two cabins available. Each has 1 bathroom, 1 bedroom with queen size bed and 2 person jacuzzi tub upstairs, sleeper sofa downstairs. Cabins are fully furnished, have central air and heat, fireplace, satellite tv, washer and dryer, and gas grill. Romantic, inviting, and very clean.

The kitchen is fully equipped to make your meal preparation easy, or you can opt to visit any of our local restaurants.

Pleasant Bank Riverfront Rentals and Park are located on thirty acres of beautiful fields and woodlands overlooking the French Broad River, on the Old Buncombe Turnpike, just as it leaves Hot Springs North Carolina and goes into Tennessee. Where did we get our name? Shortly after the 1800′s there was a drover’s Inn, on this location. With accommodations for travelers and drovers who were using the turnpike. A major route for moving cattle, hogs, turkeys and other commodities from Tennessee and Kentucky to markets in the south, such as Charleston. This location became know as Pleasant Bank Inn, also a loading point for Ottingers Ferry, crossing the river. The old turnpike road is still located were it was 200 years ago along the beautiful river. In this setting you can enjoy the quietness of the countryside and the French Broad River, which is used today for white water rafting in NC. You can often see wildlife such as deer, geese and turkeys, that will some times come into your front yard. We have two great lodging options and can comfortably sleep a total of 8 people. One cabin sleeps six and the other cabin is perfect for two.Today you can enjoy the farm and young orchard along with organic vegetables, and flowers being grown on the family farm. A fourth generation lives on the farm and manages it. Briar Rose Farm is an old mountain farm nestled in the steep slopes of the southern Appalachian Mountains. We are 30 miles northwest of Asheville and 17 miles south of Hot Springs.
The Sweet Briar Cabin is nestled on an 89-acre farm. The cabin has one cozy bedroom complete with a queen bed. There is a sitting area under a covered deck right through the bedroom’s sliding doors. At the other end of the cabin, another sliding door leads you to the outdoor eating area and hot tub.

We are a small, family-run Bed & Breakfast-style Rustic Mountain Retreat, designed in the spirit of the Great Lodges of older times and ancient places, nestled deep in the mountains of Southern Appalachia along the North Carolina/ Tennessee border. The name Kana’ti is in honor of the first chief of the first people: The Cherokee and earlier Woodland tribes who, according to archaeological evidence, used this area for thousands of years as a hunting ground for Mammoth, Bison, Elk and Deer migrating up and down the Bald Mountain Ranges as the ice caps retreated northward. The lodge itself is constructed of mostly local materials, many of which were reclaimed from old cabins and barns around the Southern Appalachian region. Every part of the building tells a story – the passing age of tobacco in barn poles and hand-rived stakes, restored windows and doors from a local school, and flooring and siding harvested from our own land.

HeathBrooke Cabin is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath home in Seven Devils, NC – just off NC Hwy. 105 between Boone and Linville, near Banner Elk. 1 King & 2 Queen beds, plus 2 Twins in the loft mean this home can accommodate 5 to 8 people. A well-stocked kitchen, large stone fireplace & spacious front porch are highlights.
After an easy drive up to Seven Devils, HeathBrooke greets visitors with a large front-and-side porch just above 3,700 feet in elevation. Depending on the season, beautiful sunrises can be seen from the front porch or from the front windows. Enjoy the outdoor fire pit year round.
The cabin is well-furnished with furniture and decor that will make you feel at home. It is not a cookie-cutter log cabin, but instead an updated mountain farm house.
A strong WiFi signal reaches every room and out onto the porch. The most unique thing about our location is our proximity to the world famous Appalachian Trail and the surrounding wilderness area of the Chattahoochee National Forest. We are sandwiched between and bordered by the Blood Mountain Wilderness Area and the Raven Cliffs Wilderness Area.
Some of our cabins are only a one hundred yard footpath from the Appalachian Trail, which extends over 2000 miles from Georgia to Maine, over the highest peaks of the Appalachian Mountains. A 2½ mile walk on the Appalachian Trail will take you to the top of Blood Mountain, the highest point on the trail in Georgia, and one of the most scenic sites in Georgia.
