Each cabin has 1 bedroom, kitchen, living room with eat-in area, covered porch and a full bath, which has been appointed with soft towels and local artisan soaps. The bedroom has a queen size bed, 1,000 count Egyptian cotton sheets and fluffy pillows and comforters to help you relax after a fun day riding or sight-seeing. The kitchen is fully equipped to make your meal preparation easy, or you can opt to visit any of our local restaurants.
Each cabin has been thoughtfully decorated with antiques found at our many local shops as well as all the modern amenities you would expect, such as Wi-Fi, HD flatscreen cable tv, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, stove and refrigerator.

The Belle Of Hot Springs is an Historic Inn located in the small mountain Town of Hot Springs, North Carolina at the foothills of the Appalachian Trail. The Belle was built in 1924 as a residential home to house the young women who attended the Dorland-Bell School For Girls which is now the esteemed Warren Wilson College. Where did we get our name? Shortly after the 1800′s there was a drover’s Inn, on this location. With accommodations for travelers and drovers who were using the turnpike. A major route for moving cattle, hogs, turkeys and other commodities from Tennessee and Kentucky to markets in the south, such as Charleston. This location became know as Pleasant Bank Inn, also a loading point for Ottingers Ferry, crossing the river. The old turnpike road is still located were it was 200 years ago along the beautiful river. In this setting you can enjoy the quietness of the countryside and the French Broad River, which is used today for white water rafting in NC. Briar Rose Farm is an old mountain farm nestled in the steep slopes of the southern Appalachian Mountains. We are 30 miles northwest of Asheville and 17 miles south of Hot Springs.
The Sweet Briar Cabin is nestled on an 89-acre farm. The cabin has one cozy bedroom complete with a queen bed. There is a sitting area under a covered deck right through the bedroom’s sliding doors. We are a small, family-run Bed & Breakfast-style Rustic Mountain Retreat, designed in the spirit of the Great Lodges of older times and ancient places, nestled deep in the mountains of Southern Appalachia along the North Carolina/ Tennessee border. The name Kana’ti is in honor of the first chief of the first people: The Cherokee and earlier Woodland tribes who, according to archaeological evidence, used this area for thousands of years as a hunting ground for Mammoth, Bison, Elk and Deer migrating up and down the Bald Mountain Ranges as the ice caps retreated northward. The lodge itself is constructed of mostly local materials, many of which were reclaimed from old cabins and barns around the Southern Appalachian region. Every part of the building tells a story – the passing age of tobacco in barn poles and hand-rived stakes, restored windows and doors from a local school, and flooring and siding harvested from our own land.

Climb the spiral staircase to the loft bedroom featuring another comfy queen bed and queen futon with a full bath including shower. (Please note: Spiral staircase has a weight limit of 250lbs). Each bedroom offers you privacy and quiet when you retire in the evenings. Perfect for additional guests or children, there is also a twin sleeper sofa to accommodate everyone in your group. This home offers one level living for those that cannot climb steps and the entry is level with no steps.
The kitchen of this rental is light and airy, stocked with everything you need to prepare a meal in your mountain getaway. Featuring a breakfast bar with seating for 6 and dining table with seating for 4 and more, the kitchen is a great place to make some cookies or prepare a delicious dinner. You are sure to enjoy the large window that offers gorgeous river views from the kitchen.

We provide paper towels, toilet paper, coffee filters (but no coffee and creamer), dish detergent, dish cloth and drying towel, trash bags, and plastic wrap. We have two cabins available. Each has 1 bathroom, 1 bedroom with queen size bed and 2 person jacuzzi tub upstairs, sleeper sofa downstairs. Cabins are fully furnished, have central air and heat, fireplace, satellite tv, washer and dryer, and gas grill. Romantic, inviting, and very clean.
So come in. Sit down by the woodburning fire place and watch TV. Or kick back in the jacuzzi tub. Relax on the porch in the rockers as you listen to the peaceful sound of the river. We promise you won’t want to leave. And when you do, you will want to come back.
Sunburst Point is a 4 bedroom/3 bathroom house located in the heart of the Smoky Mountains in western North Carolina. The original part of the house is a Circa 1870’s log cabin that was brought here from the Virginia mountains. In recent years, two bedrooms and two full baths have been added to the original house. The kitchen has been completely renovated as well. Sunburst Point has a large covered porch which can accommodate the whole family for casual outdoor dining while enjoying beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. Bedrooms include a king master suite, a second king master suite, a queen bedroom and the fourth bedroom has two full bunk beds over a twin trundle plus a single twin. There is an additional hallway full bathroom. Amenities include a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, Central A/C and dual zone heat, wood burning stove that is great for keeping the living room and kitchen area warm without the Central heat if you so choose, full size washer and dryer, wireless DSL internet access, satellite TV, outdoor campfire pit and charcoal grill.

Our home is in a quiet gated community, on an easily navigated paved road. There are so many beautiful hikes and waterfalls within just minutes of our home.
