Here at Crazy Mountain Cycles, we want to offer you the best experience of lodging, guided tours and machine rentals there is to offer in Southern WV.   We pride ourselves in giving you the best machines for the most excitement you can have.  We have 2017 Polaris RZR XP’s for the best ride and most fun possible.  We build friendships and families. We don’t have customers, we have friends and make memories that last a lifetime.  We hope to see you over and over year after year. We are located right in the middle of everything you might need to make your vacation the best ever.  Why stay somewhere or rent a machine from somewhere else when there’s nowhere to eat close by?   You can walk to restaurants, gas and a grocery store from our place.  We are the only place where you can store your machines in a locked garage at night so you have nothing to worry about.

Buffalo Trail Cabins, Cottages and Campground has been designed to meet the needs of ATV riders and their families! Buffalo Trail offers a peaceful wooded setting, but is conveniently located on Route 71 (Lorton Lick Road) within a minute of Route 52 and only 3.5 miles for the Pocahontas Trailhead of the Hatfield/Mccoy Trail System.

Nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains you will find the quiet, gentle setting that nurtures the New River Trail Cabin rentals. Within walking distance of the cabins you will enjoy the convenience of the beautifully restored downtown shopping in Galax, Virginia. You will wander into the serenity of the New River Trail where you can choose to hike, bike, or ride horseback into miles of beauty along the mountain trails and the scenic New River.

We have 5 Cottages for rent in the center of WV ATV riding country. You can ride your ATV or SXS from the front door to hundreds of miles of trails.

Cabin 1 (Stone Mountain Pilot Lookout) is a small, cozy log cabin featuring stunning views from each room

as well as the front porch and deck.  One bedroom and one bathroom.  Romantic gas log fireplace for those cool snuggly nights.  Window air conditioner is provided but it is not normally needed due to the high elevation and constant breeze coming up the mountain.  The kitchen has microwave oven, toaster oven, fridge, two burner counter-top stove, coffee maker, pots, pans, dishes, crock pot and all utensils.  Outside there’s a BBQ grill, hammock, hot tub,

rocking chairs and a picnic table.  We supply all linens and towels for up to four people.

Ridge Top ATV Hideaway is located atop a scenic mountain setting at Windmill Gap, West Virginia directly on the Hatfield and McCoy Trail system. It is conveniently located on the Indian Ridge trail, also near Pinnacle Creek Trail, and many outlaw trails.  With ample parking for trailers and ATV’s, this cozy hideaway easily sleeps 13, and is a non-smoking indoor facility. Enjoy a stay with a perfect view of the wild and wonderful mountains of West Virginia. Escape to the comfort and peace of a cabin at Springmaid Mountain.

All cabins include flat screen with DISH Network TV, full size stove, microwave, refrigerator, toaster, coffee maker, sliverware, glasses, dishes, pots/pans, basic utensils, outdoor girll utensils (all cabins have outdoor charcoal grill), all linens are provided (bed sheets, towels, wash cloths), bars of soap are provided (but no shampoo and conditioner). We provide paper towels, toilet paper, coffee filters (but no coffee and creamer), dish detergent, dish cloth and drying towel, trash bags, and plastic wrap. Our Blue Ridge Parkway Cabins are located just off of the Blue Ridge Parkway (hence the name!) close to Linville Falls, Linville Gorge, Linville Caverns and minutes away from Grandfather Mountain and all of the High Country’s great activities and attractions!

Located in the heart of the Pisgah National Forest, our two beautiful and secluded cabins offer the perfect Linville Falls Rental and mountain getaway. If you’re looking for cabins near Grandfather Mountain and the rest of the hiking, biking, whitewater rafting, golf and ski activities in the area – our Mountain Dream Cabins on the Blue Ridge Parkway are just for you!

The South Toe River runs through the property and families love the convenience of fishing and swimming at the cabin. Mayberry Haven was built in 1947. It was purchased on May 1 2013 and has been completely remodeled in order to make your stay with us a relaxing and enjoyable one. The house is located in a nice, convenient neighborhood and is within a two block walking distance to downtown Mount Airy.

The Andy Griffith Playhouse, Museum & Statue and the Blackmon Amphitheatre are located only one block from Mayberry Haven. The Creek Bend Cabin is located on picturesque Spring Creek. It boasts a secluded feel with a waterfall that you can view from the hot tub on the deck. It is easy to fall in love with this beautiful area!

All of our cabins feature sparkling clean hot tubs with fresh water for each guest. Our stringent standards drive us to take the extra step to provide clean water with every visit. Our cabins are pristine and cozy. We make every effort possible to provide the best accommodations in the area.

We provide all the fresh linens and towels for your stay. For longer stays, there is  the convenience of an on-site washer and dryer. If you don’t feel like preparing your own meals, Hot Springs has several restaurants from very casual to fancy.

Laughing Heart Lodge in Hot Springs, NC, opened in August of 2012 after extensive renovation.  It is a wonderful facility for retreats, family gatherings, weddings, and events as well as being available to individual guests as a bed and breakfast.   The lodge is a great place for relaxing, a romantic getaway, and to enjoy the beauty of our surrounding sacred mountains in our small, quaint mountain town.  Our vision includes hosting a variety of retreats in addition to providing peaceful lodging to travelers.  We are excited about our endeavors.

The lodge was built in 1892 and, for over 50 years, was a Jesuit Retreat Center. Today, Laughing Heart Lodge offers accommodations in its 7 lovingly renovated rooms (all with private baths) with exceptional mountain views or lovely forest views.  At the edge of our 8 acres, Laughing Heart Hostel (located at the trailhead of the Appalachian Trail) includes very affordable lodging for hikers and other visitors to Hot Springs.

We are a husband / wife team who had enough of corporate America and set out to follow a dream. Briar Rose Farm is an old mountain farm nestled in the steep slopes of the southern Appalachian Mountains. We are 30 miles northwest of Asheville and 17 miles south of Hot Springs.

The Sweet Briar Cabin is nestled on an 89-acre farm. The cabin has one cozy bedroom complete with a queen bed. There is a sitting area under a covered deck right through the bedroom’s sliding doors. The Cabin on Coney Island is whimsical and relaxing. It is outfitted with all the amenities, plus the seclusion of your own private island – which is yours to explore! Located at the confluence of the New and Greenbrier Rivers, it is accessible by watercraft only. The Cabin on Coney Island requires a two-night minimum stay.

Cozy, clean, creek side home in Madison County “The Jewel of the Blue Ridge”, Apple Cabin is a 3 BR, 3 BA centrally located between Asheville, NC and Smoky Mountain National Park. We are a small, family-run Bed & Breakfast-style Rustic Mountain Retreat, designed in the spirit of the Great Lodges of older times and ancient places, nestled deep in the mountains of Southern Appalachia along the North Carolina/ Tennessee border. The name Kana’ti is in honor of the first chief of the first people: The Cherokee and earlier Woodland tribes who, according to archaeological evidence, used this area for thousands of years as a hunting ground for Mammoth, Bison, Elk and Deer migrating up and down the Bald Mountain Ranges as the ice caps retreated northward. The lodge itself is constructed of mostly local materials, many of which were reclaimed from old cabins and barns around the Southern Appalachian region. Every part of the building tells a story – the passing age of tobacco in barn poles and hand-rived stakes, restored windows and doors from a local school, and flooring and siding harvested from our own land.

Nestled in the heart of the Smoky Mountains, Bear Creek Cabins has two unique cabins that you can call home. Conveniently located in Hot Springs, NC, near impressive attractions such as the Biltmore Estate and the Appalachian Trail, Bear Creek Cabins have a lot to offer no matter what your interests might be.

Aquilla Creek Cottage is located in East Bend, North Carolina, in the rural Yadkin Valley wine country. This destination rental is a renovated historic building that was once part of the I.C. Shore Distillery and then a tobacco pack house. It is situated in the heart of North Carolina’s world class wine production area. We pride ourselves in creating a tranquil atmosphere that allows our guests to create memories that will be treasured for years to come.  Our comfortable cottage promotes true relaxation.

Welcome to “A Touch of Luxury” located on the border of Mill Spring and Lake Lure. This is a custom-built, 1672 sq. ft., 2 BR/2BA log cabin, 15.9 miles from the Tryon International Equestrian Center, and only 1.5 miles from the Lake Lure Ingles grocery, gas station, pharmacy, and Red Box. Ingles is the only major grocery store in the area. Chimney Rock State Park is a 6.5 mile drive. The Beach at Lake Lure is 5.5 miles away.

This charming home is in a private, secluded setting, while still a short drive to the touristy attractions in Mill Spring, Chimney Rock, and Lake Lure. The cabin comes with the basic Directv channels. Free Wifi is also available. Please note that we have the fastest internet available in our area; however, due to the mountains, it is not conducive to streaming video, etc.

Main floor bedroom has King-size pillow top mattress, ceiling fan, and 32″ flat panel TV. Double closets have ample storage space. Standard full bath w/ tub/shower combo is directly across from this room.

Upstairs bedroom has Queen-size pillow top mattress, ceiling fan, 32″ flat panel TV, and ensuite bathroom. The bathroom has Jacuzzi tub and separate shower.

Living room has a 55 inch flat screen tv. There are two single floor mattresses for a 5th and 6th guest to use. Fifth and sixth guests are $15 each per night (no matter the age).

Kitchen is fully stocked with cookware, dishes, basics, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, etc.

The theater room has a 110 inch movie screen with ample seating and popcorn machine.

The 8 ft. covered, wrap around deck has gas grill, outdoor sound system, plenty of seating, a swinging bench, and spacious dining area. The property also includes a private waterfall, horseshoe pits, and miniature zipline for young kids.

Note: During the first freezing and last freezing of the year, the backyard waterfall amenity is exchanged for the indoor fireplace. Firewood for one evening fire per night is provided.

There is parking for 3 vehicles maximum.

From your porch, you will enjoy the beautiful sunsets over Wildcat Spur located on Sugar Loaf mountain. We have two cabins available.  Each has 1 bathroom, 1 bedroom with queen size bed and 2 person jacuzzi tub upstairs, sleeper sofa downstairs.  Cabins are fully furnished, have central air and heat, fireplace, satellite tv, washer and dryer, and gas grill.  Romantic, inviting,  and very clean.

“Overlook” is a beautifully furnished three-bedroom, three-bath, log cabin on two acres of wooded land with gorgeous mountain views! It offers a gated, covered porch with a large furnished deck and gas grill. Just off the deck is a fire pit with tree stump seating.

On the first level is a furnished living room with vaulted ceilings and a river rock face fireplace. Adjacent to the living room is the dining area, with a long country table with four chairs and a bench it seats seven. The kitchen is fully equipped with a coffeemaker, ample cookware, glassware, and flatware. In addition to the spacious cabinets in the kitchen, there is a full pantry closet.

Off the hallway is the first level bedroom, furnished in a mission style, with a full-size bed, recliner, end tables and an armoire, as well as satellite TV. There is a full bathroom with a fully-stocked linen closet. All the flooring on this level is hardwood.

Off the living room is a staircase leading to the second level – a large carpeted loft with a queen-size sleeper sofa, end tables/lamps, large coffee table, game table, satellite TV/DVR, and two chairs. Adjacent to the loft is a large carpeted master bedroom with a beautiful oak bedroom suite (queen-size bed), large walk-in closet and full bathroom.

On the ground level is a bedroom/den with a double bed, office area, washer/dryer and a full bathroom.

The house is equipped with electric heat pump/AC, WiFi & satellite TV.

Green River Highlands is a gated 430 acre community on the Green River. The community Park at the entrance includes a children’s playground, basketball court, gazebo, charcoal grill and access to the Green River for tubing, swimming and fishing (especially good for trout fishing). Green River Highlands, nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, is off Hwy. 74; exit 173 (Union Road), just west of Rutherfordton, NC and is conveniently located within 15 to 30 minutes of two hospitals, major food stores, numerous antique/specialty stores, vineyards, Lake Lure, Chimney Rock, historic Hendersonville and about an hour to Asheville, Greenville-Spartanburg and Charlotte airports.
