For your outdoor enjoyment, each cabin offers you beautiful scenery from a spacious deck most cabins have a hot tub and gas grill. The cabins also feature a living room , well-equipped kitchen, cable television and in most cabins, a floor-to-ceiling stone gas fireplace. Several of our cabins are even pet friendly!
Most essentials are provided for your convenience and to simplify planning your getaway…bed linens, bath towels, washer/dryer, hair dryer, iron/ironing board, coffee maker, microwave, dishwasher, and other kitchen necessities. Please bring any additional towels that you may need for outdoor adventures like tubing or white-water rafting.
Our private rental cabin is located southeast of downtown Boone, North Carolina by Leatherwood Mountain alongside Elk Creek. This secluded log cabin offers 10 acres of mountain, a spectacular view, a trickling waterfall that flows inches from the back deck, as well as a swift moving creek to wade, swim, or fish in. However, “secluded mountain cabin” doesn’t mean bare necessities. The Serenity Falls vacation rental cabin has all the modern conveniences you’ve come to expect. Hiking is just inches away on our private trails that traverse the mountain and lead to a swinging vine. Games you’re thing? Try the regulation horse shoe pit. When it’s time to relax, nothing beats a dip in the hot tub or some marshmallows around the campfire. Our rental cabin is one of the few that has a rock lined fire-pit that many of our guests have highlighted as a great family experience!
When you’re ready to explore, the cabin is just minutes away from the Blue Ridge Parkway, Boone, Blowing Rock, Banner Elk, Wilkesboro and many local North Carolina vacation attractions. If you’re feeling really energetic, horseback riding, fishing, golfing, whitewater rafting, and snow skiing are all close by. Whether it’s a spot along the Blue Ridge Parkway, a trip up Grandfather Mountain, or hiking Linville Falls.
Enjoy a unique family camping and cabin experience with the tranquil sounds of Moravian Creek and the marvelous Moravian Falls waterfall, which stands at 60 ft tall with 2 levels, and is 50 ft wide. We have hot showers, full hookups, pull throughs, tent sites, a large fishing pond, and camp store. Pets are allowed with RV campers only. Relax in one of our three “Spiritually Inspired” lodgings — The Villa, to the left of the waterfall, and The Cabin right of the waterfall, and The Christmas Tree Lodge, that is just a short distance from the waterfall and Office.
