Hidden Hollow is in the southern Appalachians and is a part of McLemore Cove, which is included on the National Historic Register. It is 135 mostly wooded acres of seclusion at the foot of, and on the side of, Lookout Mountain, 20 miles from downtown Chattanooga. The five-acre lake is spring fed with a small creek bordering the property. Special on-site interests (besides the many tourist attractions in the nearby areas) are the Cherokee Indian heritage, the Civil War happenings, remnants of old moonshine stills, and varied outdoor games.

We like to think of our place as the place you always wanted for the “perfect wedding’; as a ‘gathering place’, to build community; and as a “getaway,” a retreat from the tensions, noises, and rush of today’s lifestyles. We encourage our guests to take advantage of Hidden Hollow’s peace and quiet and relive the days when families and friends sat on the porches and visited, played horseshoes, croquet, etc. on the lawns, paddled the canoes or kayaks around the lake or fish from its banks.

We create a special atmosphere here for guests who, upon arriving recognize that this is indeed ‘a special place’. A place where people sense the spiritual peace of the place. The house has had 2 remodels since its purchase in 2008. Families will enjoy the cabin feel of the upstairs and kids will love the huge remodeled basement with plenty of space to keep them occupied when they’re not outside. The kitchen has new granite counter tops throughout and new stainless steel appliances. Our most recent remodel extended the house toward the lake and has a very large space for relaxing with a book or entertaining with your family. The house faces the water through double pane glass from one end of the house to the other. Two sets of double french doors pass through to the deck.

There are three decks all together. The main deck spans the length of the house and has a remote controlled 25′ SunSetter when shade is preferred. There is a concrete patio a short walk down by the water and a third deck overlooking the side yard where the flat grassy area becomes a great place for playing games or sunbathing. The acre of property is fenced in and is buffered by acres of land on each side insuring privacy.

Convenient to I-75, the house offers easy access to local attractions (Braves, Lake Point Sporting Complex (see links for more info), Golf, and Shopping). Downtown Acworth is just a few miles away and has a wonderful selection of restaurants and night life.

The house has three bedrooms (Queens) on the main level and on the lower level is a fourth bedroom (Queen) and a bonus room with a Queen bed & a bunk bed (twin on top/double on bottom). Bunks are mostly ideal for kids.

You can enjoy the lake view from any number of sitting and sunbathing areas around the outside of the house including several decks/patios.

Lake Allatoona is a Corps of Engineers controlled lake. Unlike many properties on the lake we enjoy year-round water under our dock.

Get away from it all at our tiny cabin in the woods! Our log cabin is secluded and remote. Your family will have acres to explore, hike, and play. Cabin will be deep cleaned and sanitized between rentals.

Awesome Green River Log Cabin situated only a few feet off the Corp of Engineers property line on Richard B Russell Lake. Come enjoy our beautiful cabin in the woods with the added benefit of the lake being only a few hundred feet (3 minute walk) from the cabin via a marked walking trail. Your dog will be in heaven if you bring him/her along!

With only 400 square feet, it’s best for a couple or single family, but sleeps up to 8. There are queen mattresses in the master bedroom, upstairs loft, and a queen pullout couch. There are also two built-in twin bunk beds. Upgraded kitchen with granite, stainless appliances, coffee maker, toaster, and microwave. Full bathroom with shower/tub. Large screened porch with a ceiling fan and room to relax, as well. We recently added a huge covered porch for added enjoyment outdoors.

Near the Creek vacation rental properties is a family owned business.  We bought the first home in 2005 and in the next 4 years we bought 6 more houses. We recently sold 3 houses. Now there is a total of 4 vacation homes to choose from, each with their own unique style.

All of the houses are in the Riverpointe subdivision less than one mile from the parkway in Pigeon Forge.  They are all within walking distance of each other for those of you who might need more than one house,  The neighborhood is beautiful, quiet and safe.  there is a walking trail by the river.   Lovely for an evening stroll after a long day of amusement parks or shopping.

There’s gold in them thar hills! Historic Dahlonega, Georgia, gateway to the Appalachian Mountains, is the site of the first major U.S. gold rush. Come pan for gold in the Chestatee river. This large home is located directly on the Chestatee just before the Coppermines. It was recently renovated, and is ready for eager treasure hunters and vacationers. We have central heating and air with a ductless air conditioning system in the honeymoon suite on the top floor and we continue to make improvements each year to ensure our guests have a great experience!

This warm, inviting home on the river was built in 1997. It has five bedrooms, three and a half baths, two great rooms, and two kitchens. All the rooms have high ceilings including the ground floor. If you like vaulted wood ceilings and the heavenly sound and view of the river just one hundred feet off the covered back deck, this is the place to spend your vacation.

The upstairs living space consists of two suites, each on a different floor with their own private bathrooms, a great room, a dining room, a full kitchen, a half bath, and a covered porch overlooking the river. The master bedroom on the main floor has a king size bed and a full private bathroom. The honeymoon suite upstairs has an Amish king-size bed, a daybed with a trundle, a sitting area, a vaulted wood ceiling, and a full private bathroom. Guests with bad knees or other disabilities can easily access the bedroom on the main floor (only two steps on the front porch). We also have a handicap shower/bathtub bench for the main floor master bathroom. The house is not handicap accessible although one previous guest with a wheelchair commented that she was able to get around the main floor just fine.

The terrace level (ground floor) has three bedrooms, a great room/kitchen combo, one full bathroom, and a patio under the main deck also overlooking the river. Two of the bedrooms have queen size beds. The third bedroom has two twin beds with a built-in loft for children. There is also a daybed with a trundle below in the great room so a total of nine guests can stay on the ground floor level.

In total there are two king beds, two queen beds, two twin beds with a built-in loft, two daybeds with trundle beds below, two roll out cots and two heavy duty camping cots.

The accommodations are perfect for two couples with children, large extended families, a girls, guys or couples retreat, wedding parties (we get a lot), family and company gatherings and wine tour groups. The upstairs living area is also quite cozy if you’re looking for more of a romantic getaway or have a smaller group. The main floor and upstairs suite has an old feel to it even though the house is relatively new and it has an open airy feeling with high ceilings and lots of natural light from the windows. Several rooms have antique dressers and gold accents. For our larger groups, there’s easily enough room to park up to eight vehicles.

One of our favorite activities at the house is roasting marshmallows in the fire pit by the river and relaxing in the hammock or around the picnic table. We also have a few outdoor games like badminton, volleyball, horseshoes, croquet, frisbee toss, and weighted yard dart toss, so you can play next to the river. For those rainy days we have several indoor games and puzzles, wireless internet, and four televisions with satellite, Netflix, & Pandora Radio.

Have you ever panned for gold? This house comes with several gold pans so your family and friends can come search for gold without ever leaving the property. At least two previous guests have found gold right on the property.

There are many fun things to do in and around Dahlonega including outdoor sports like kayaking, fishing, hiking, mountain biking and golf. There are also a lot of great vineyards (Cavender Creek, Wolf Mountain, Three Sisters, & Frogtown to name a few closeby), restaurants (Bourbon Street Grille is our favorite for dinner or brunch), antique shops, arts and crafts stores, wildlife preserves, and festivals to explore. The Smith House is a historic family style buffet worth visiting. Lake Lanier is also only 30 minutes south of Dahlonega in Cumming and Gainesville.

TRIPLE TREE Cabin is located 5 miles from HELEN GA. It is on the backside of HELEN GA on North Fern Cove Rd entrance is off of SkyLake Rd and you cross a creek immediately after turning on N Fern Cove Rd. This cabin was custom built by the owner of Blue Creek Cabins and is a beauty. This HUGE 4-bedroom, 3-bath has it all: PRIVACY, MOUNTAIN VIEWS, HOT TUB, Indoor Jacuzzi, and a nice sized CEDAR SAUNA.
